Hi, I’m Johannes!

I did my first undergraduate studies Psychology at LMU Munich, and in parallel, started a second degree in Computer Science, which sparked my passion for artificial neural networks.
During my undergraduate studies I mainly worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Clinical Neuropsychology at LMU, where I was responsible for statistical analyses and the implementation of (eye tracking) experiments.
Last year I finished my master’s degree in Intelligent Interactive Systems at UPF in Barcelona, where I followed the computer vision track. In theoretical lectures and practical lab sessions I was able to gain a solid and deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and their application. My thesis was about feature selection in the process of stress prediction based on physiological measurements.
Currently I am working at the Fraunhofer Institute of Cognitive Systems in the Trustworthy AI group and voluntarily visit some more machine learning & computer vision courses at LMU.
When I’ m not studying or working, you can usually find me hiking in the mountains. 😉
