Hi, I’m Johannes! 🙂
I did my first undergraduate studies in Psychology at LMU Munich, and in parallel, started a second degree in Computer Science, which sparked my passion for machine & deep learning.
In 2021 I finished my master’s degree in Intelligent Interactive Systems at UPF in Barcelona, where I mainly followed the computer vision track. In theoretical lectures and practical lab sessions I was able to gain a solid and deep understanding of machine & deep learning algorithms and their application, especially in the computer vision domain.
After my master’s I worked on healthcare-related machine learning in the Trustworthy AI division of the Fraunhofer Institute of Cognitive Systems.
In March 2023 I started my PhD at the Computer Vision & Learning group at LMU, where I am currently working on generative models.
Apart from working on interesting machine learning topics, you can find me cycling 🚲 or hiking in the mountains ⛰️ .
